An investigation of the aesthetic potentials of paper mache.
The project aims to increase the awareness of how many materials that surrounds us.
With the project we hope to inspire people to activate their paper waste and create their own objects.
The project was made in collaboration with Sofie Graabæk Byriel.
The project started with a series of experiments focusing on paper types and their expressions as paper mache. As the project developed we looked into combining paper types or how we could color the material e.g. using spices.
The material can be dissolved in water and used again in new compositions and objects
